Join us and the North East Chamber of Commerce for a Health and Wellbeing event hosted with the Pioneering Care Partnership Wednesday 25th January 2023, 9.30am - 12.30pm. We will look at different ways in which organisations can help to support employees with both mental and physical wellbeing.

10.00 -10.10 Welcome/Introductions – Karen Stubbings, Pioneering Care Partnership

10.10 -10.25 Beth Chadwick, Ascent Trust

Hope Wood Academy is a special school in County Durham who are committed to promoting the health and wellbeing of colleagues, students and their families. Having just submitted for their Gold award, Beth is happy to support other organisations in their BHAWA journey.

10.25 -10.40 ART Health Solutions

10.40 -10.55 Refreshment break

10.55 -11.10 Angela Hann, Able Futures

Able Futures can help employers to demonstrate their commitment to supporting people with mental health conditions in the workplace. There is no charge to use the Access to Work Mental Health Support Service.

11.10 - 11.25 Suzanne Barbour, Barbour Coaching

As a Life Coach and Menopause Mentor Suzanne is committed to working with businesses to bring awareness and education around the impact of Menopause and Mental Health. Trained by the Menopause Experts Group and as an associate member of the Newson Health Menopause Society, she encourages the businesses she works with to protect their employees and their organisations with policy, education and active support tools.

11.25 -11.40 Kerry Kirsop, Humankind

Humankind is a social inclusion charity, which supports the most vulnerable people in our communities with a variety of issues they may be experiencing including substance use, homelessness, mental health, education or working skill and independent living. It's our workforce that deliver the support people need, and we are committed to keeping our workforce happy and healthy, so they can continue to provide these essential services.

11.40 - 11.55 Kate Henderson, Groundwork UK

Groundwork are passionate about creating a future where every neighbourhood is vibrant and green, every community is strong, no-one is held back by their background and circumstances, we provide a springboard for better work and healthier, happier lives in the places that need it most.

Parking: Free on sight parking available at the venue.

This event is also open to non-members, non-members can attend one Chamber event only.
